My mission is to provide you with professional photography services that encompass the superlative quality and personal attention to detail that you deserve.
I have been photographing weddings since the summer of 1999. Over the years, I have adopted a twofold approach. During the time leading up to the ceremony, as well as during your wedding ceremony and reception, I assume the role of romantic photojournalist. I most often can be found just off to the side, ever watchful for moments and emotions, capturing the passion of your wedding day as it unfolds. I am also a student of classic portraiture, and your formal wedding photographs will feature stunning individual and group portraits of yourselves, your wedding party, and friends and family if desired.
I also want to hear any ideas you may have about how you feel your wedding photographs should look. If you have a special location, pose, or idea, please feel free to ask. It's the best way to make sure your personality shines though in your photographs.
FAQs
Do you shoot with digital or film equipment?
Both. Weddings and portraits are photographed with a mix digital capture, 35mm, and medium format film, depending on the medium best suited for the situation at hand. Digital capture is done in the camera's native RAW format, preserving every possible element of the photograph against JPG loss. On the film side, I use only the highest quality professional films from Kodak and Fuji. After your event, each roll of film containing your precious memories is hand delivered by myself to one of the state's most experienced professional photo labs for the best processing money can buy.
If you shoot film at my wedding, how can you make a website or CD featuring my wedding photos?
At the time of processing, each negative is scanned by the lab, and the resulting digital image is written to CD. It is from these files that web pages, CD's and DVDs featuring your photos can be created.
How long will it take before my pictures are ready?
After approximately three to four weeks, I will contact you with the address of your personalized website, and to set up an appointment to pick up your photographs.
How many pictures can I expect from my wedding?
I neither make promises nor do I place limitations on quantity. My job, as I see it, is to capture (and yes, sometimes create) images from your wedding, and not to fill an arbitrary quota. A typical proof set can contain anywhere from 100 to 600 photographs depending on how long you require my services, the size of the wedding party, number of guests, and length of ceremony.
